There are many areas of California law that relate to activities that may potentially result in a conflict of interest for officers and designated employees of the Air Resources Board. The information provided under "Filing Requirements - What New & Current Employees Need to Know" describes these areas generally and encourages officers and designated employees to remain aware of the potential conflict of interest possibilities throughout their employment.

Ethics Orientation for State Officials

The Form 700 -- Statement of Economic Interests is interactive. You may download the form and instructions to your computer, and complete and print the appropriate schedules for filing with the Filing Officer. When you complete a schedule, it is recommended that you print two copies (one for filing and one for your own records) before going to the next schedule. Exiting the program will erase the information entered on the form. Clicking on the "clear form" button will delete the information entered on that schedule.

Contact the ARB Office of Legal Affairs for questions regarding filing requirements, interpretation of the Conflict of Interest law and questions compeleting the Form 700. Contact the Filing Officer for copies of required forms and schedules and for information regarding filing of the Form 700. Information can also be obtained by contacting the Fair Political Practices Commission.
