95-5-1 Public Meeting to Consider a Proposed Report to the California State Legislature on Funding Sources of California's Air Pollution Control Districts with Budgets Exceeding $1,000,000

In response to Health & Safety Code 43211.1 the proposed Annual Report to the Legislature has been prepared and will be submitted for consideration by the Board. The report describes district budget processes, sources of funding, and the relative contribution to each air district's programs from industry and other fees and from enforcement activities.

95-5-2 Public Meeting to Consider a Status Report on the State Implementation Plan (SIP) and the Federal Implementation Plan (FIP)

Staff will discuss the status of California's 1994 State Implementation Plan (SIP) for Ozone and Congressional rescission of the Federal Implementation Plan. Items to be discussed will include SIP approval issues and progress on the development and implementation of SIP measures.

95-5-3 Public Meeting to Consider Research Proposals:

Proposal No. 2187-188R, entitled, "A Continuous, Real-Time, Miniature Ozone Monitor," submitted by the University of California, Berkeley, for a total amount not to exceed $289,257

Proposal No. 2188-188R, entitled, "Common Indoor Sources of Volatile Organic Compounds: Emission Rates and Techniques for Reducing Consumer Exposures," submitted by Lawrence Berkeley Laboratories, for a total amount not to exceed $255,110

Proposal No. 2208-189, entitled, "Assessing Exposure to Air Toxics from Environmental Tobacco Smoke," submitted by the University of California, Berkeley, for a total amount not to exceed $122,928

Proposal No. 2199-189, entitled, " Initial Assessment of the Spatial Variability of Pollutants: Characterization of Sub-grid Scale Pollutant Concentrations by Scanning Lidar," submitted by Los Alamos, for a total amount not to exceed $150,000

Proposal No. 2207-189, entitled, "Statewide Potential Yield Losses from Ozone Exposure," submitted by the University of California, Davis, for a total amount not to exceed $39,882
