03-5-2 Notice of Public Meeting to Consider Approval of the Proposed 2003 State Implementation Plan for Particulate Matter in the San Joaquin Valley, Including New State Strategies to Reduce Emissions

Staff will recommend amendments for Board approval of the 2003 Particulate Matter (PM10) State Implementation Plan to attain the federal 24-hour and annual PM10 standards prepared by the San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District.

03-5-3 Public Meeting to Consider an Update on the Central California Ozone Study (CCOS)

Staff will provide the Board with an update on the CCOS which took place in summer 2000, and was jointly funded through federal, state, local, and private sector funds. The study includes field measurements, air quality modeling and data analysis. This item will provide an update on how the study results will be used to provide the technical foundations for the upcoming 1-hour ozone State Implementation Plan update for the San Joaquin Valley.
