It is the responsibility of the fleet operator and (or) installer to evaluate the appropriateness of a particular device for any given vehicle, including consideration of duty cycle, engine and exhaust parameters, space considerations, and safe installation. All of the terms and conditions of the executive order and corresponding attachments must be met for the device to be considered for a given engine application.
ARB staff STRONGLY recommend each fleet operator and (or) installer read the Executive Order for each device to determine and confirm the specific operating requirements and engines for which the device is verified.
Furthermore, it is your responsibility to verify and confirm that the Content is accurate and up-to-date.
Please note, at this time the verification database only has information for 1981 through 2012 heavy duty diesel engines.
Pre-1988 engines, foreign engines, non-certified engines and other miscellaneous engines may not be listed in this database, but may be included in select verifications. Please check with Huss and ESW CleanTech for any engine which does not appear in this database.
Verified diesel emission control system retrofit devices for Rubber Tired Gantry (RTG) cranes that have a pre-certified engine cannot be found using this Verification Database. Since these engines are pre-certified they do not have an engine family name to look up. Please go to the "Currently Verified" page and look up the RYPOS, Inc. ActiveDPF/C3+ verification for RTG cranes. Please contact RYPOS to verify that this device can be used on your pre-certified engine used in an RTG crane.
