In these times of economic uncertainty it is easy to lose sight of
the larger picture of our environment and the biosphere. Like it
or not our economy is completely dependant upon the health of the
environment. Just ask coastal Louisiana residents.

Carbon levels as they are now are resulting in ocean acidification
and ice cap melting. Ice cap melting also means a reduction of
salt in the oceans and that will result in a change of ocean
currents and thereby change the atmospheric currents. It is
impossible to say exactly what will result however if the jetstream
moves our farming system will most likely reel from the shock and
the rest of the economy will come tumbling down along with it. Our
current economic state will look like a dream.

Terrorism will rise as more and more people become desparate for
basic necessities and blame the western world for ruining the free
lunch our biosphere has provided since before history.

If we half-ass these carbon cutting initiatives, we are all
screwed. Help green enterpreneurs become profitable and lets start
a green job revolution that can not only save our planet, but also
help our economy.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

 Derick Dressel
