It's pretty obvious that the climate effects all of us. It is not
so obvious, how the US, a supposedly well educated nation, 
has as a whole, decided to do next to nothing to deal with the
issue of global warming. As if ignoring it, or denying it is going
to make it go away. 

Without accurate information and understanding of the physics of
global warming, we are destined to the same fate as many of the
species we have "committed to extinction." We aren't going to be
able to adapt to an average temperature that is 10 degrees higher.


Stickng with the status quo because we can't see any other
possibility, is like the smoker who thinks he has to have a
cigarette.
