California has always been in the lead pertaining to environmental
changes for the good of humanity. Time is running out to enable any
sort of curtailment of climate change's negative impact.
 
This bill to adopt regional greenhouse gas emission reduction
targets for automobiles and light trucks has the potential to be a
positive force in this battle. Please do everything that you can to
put some real muscle into this bill to serve as example for the
other states to follow suit.
