Dear Air Resource Board,

I am the Executive Director of a grass-roots climate action group
that has 570 members in the County of Ventura. I am also on the
City of Ventura's "Buy Local" committee, a Citizen Advisory to VC
Transit Commission, on the board of the West Side Development
Corporation dealing with CDB Grants, and an active member of the
Westside Redevelopment effort. 

As such, I see a broad spectrum of citizens both wealthy and
underprivileged. Well-planned walkable, bikable, transit-friendly
cities is as much of a social justice issue as it is an
environmental ultimatum. We need a new green way to breathe life
into our economy, while it protects our quality of life, and in
fact, our very lives from fire, flood, drought, and pests. 

I urge you to take the strongest stand for the good our ourselves,
our future, and the people not invited to the table, but the ones
to feel negative effects of climate change first. Support the
intention of SB-375 with your involvement, your voice, and a vote
for staff-recommended emissions targets.
