| Comment | Please do not lessen any Air Pollution Standards or auto emission standards for California. As is well documented by the EPA and Cal OHSA, the Inland Empire has amongst the worst air quality in the Country. As a physician who cares for young children, our asthma rates continue to soar and the uncompensated ER visits for children with asthma and other respiratory conditions will rise even further if air standards are weakened. The industry pundits dismiss the harsh reality that auto and truck emissions contribute to respiratory disease in our children and adults. Hold your ground and do not lessen our emission standards.
