Dear ARB Boardmembers:
I am respectfully requesting that you amend your FY11-12 Program
Funding Plan to maintain current rebate levels at $5,000/vehicle
vs. the proposed $2,500 proposal for zero emission vehicles in
FY11-12.  I recently purchased a Nissan Leaf zero emission vehicle
to improve air quality in the Sacramento area and protect the
environment for future generations.  Part of my decision to make
this investment was based on having full access to both the Federal
Tax Credit ($7,500) and State Rebate ($5,000).  Keeping the rebate
at $5,000 will encourage expedited market saturation of zero
emission vehicles in the Sacramento air quality district area and
accrue those benefits sooner.  Please consider maintaining the
$5,000 rebate level through December 31, 2011.
