Dear Board Members,
Thank you first of all for your service. However, you must remember
you are not elected, and so do not have a "mandate." The "cap and
trade" scheme you will be proposing will put California at a huge
disadvantage commercially with competitors, further driving
business and agriculture from the state.
We are all concerned about air quality in California, and have made
huge strides in the past decades, in part due to your good work. We
thank you. But please do not over-reach the science in promoting
"cap and trade." As has been shown in the past year, the
proposition is founded on "shaky" science, which is by no means
agreed upon by all. Until that science has "caught up" and been
verified, please do not politicize or monetize or penalize it.
