Dear Air Resources Board,

I am writing to express my support for your implementing a cap and
trade system in California. While the implementation is a very
complex process, it is my firm belief that California's economy and
environment stand to benefit from creating a cap on greenhouse gas
emissions and incentivizing innovations in industry.

California already benefits from its progressive environmental
regulations, for instance the State's low per capita energy
consumption, and the cap and trade system will encourage the
development of new and improved technologies that help to protect
the environment from global climate change. This will be an
important element of the 21st century's economy, and California can
harness its entrepreneurial spirit to meet these demands while
maintaining global competitiveness.
