It is of more than normal importance for California to lead in the
effort to reduce emissions that may be contributing to global
warming.  There is so much industrial resistance to implementing
changes to reduce emissions in the rest of the country, that
California must once again lead the way.  Inaction, or maintenance
of the status quo, is convenient in the short term.  In the long
term inaction has the potential to become much more costly than the
investments needed to install controls.

Please support expansion of cap and trade efforts to address
emissions of global warming pollutants.
