I will be present in person to provide verbal support for the
Proposed Research plan, two specifically: first, the Potential to
Build Current Natural Gas Infrastructure to Accommodate the Future
Conversion to Near-Zero Transportation Technology; and second, the
Well to Wheel Pathways for Zero and Near-Zero Technology in
California’s Heavy Duty Sector.  We believe these projects will
advance the idea of natural gas as a long-term clean fuel for the
future of California, as we discussed with Chair Nichols and senior
staff last month.  Also, these projects help move forward AB 32
greenhouse gas reduction requirements, as well as further ARB’s
progress in its Low Carbon Fuel Standard Program.
