This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. It’s
ludicrous to me that your board can’t come up with a more
substantial way to lower carbon emissions than to slap another
regulation on the citizens of California and those who service
their vehicles. Low tire pressure, are you kidding me? This
proposed regulation assumes that a citizen can’t maintain their own
equipment, but that they also could not be trusted to provide the
adequate documentation.  Another problem is with your testing
method. You require tire to be inflated if it is more than one
pound per square inch (psi) under the manufacturer’s
recommendation, but the testing equipment can have a margin of
error of 2 psi. This is one area where government needs to stop
meddling, and quit bothering people. Give me a break already.
