Subject | Proposed tire pressure regulation |
Comment | To whom it may concern, I am writing this because you fail to realize the long and short term affects of this proposal. This is yet another bogus proposal to try and get more money with the excuse of environmental problems. This proposal in my eyes foresees multiple angles for lawsuits on independent and factory repair facilities, not to mention the California Air Research Board. You CANNOT force a person to maintain there car. That is immoral and unconstitutional. How can you justify forcing people to have to pay to have there tire pressure checked when most people can hardly afford to put food on their tables? One of the first things I read on your proposal states the tire pressure needs to be set at the factory recommended tire pressure. There are millions of vehicles on the road that do not have factory wheels and tires on the car. I am one for breathing clean air but this has gone too far. |
