This gathering is a forum to discuss the state of zero emission technology and the ZEV market. The actual summit is invitation only. However, representatives will be available to discuss the purpose of the event and describe the latest technology. What: 2nd Governor’s ZEV Summit Where: CalEPA building, 1001 I Street (10th & I), Sacramento When: 9 AM-4:30 PM, Friday, March 07, 2014 Who: This event is arranged on behalf of Governor Jerry Brown, and brings together representatives of government, non-governmental organizations and industry. Why: The market for ZEVs is rapidly developing and is critical to California’s efforts to reduce pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. Background California is a leader in efforts to improve public health through cleaner air and has also become a leader in the fight to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions accelerating climate change worldwide. Specifically, California’s Clean Car regulations http://bit.ly/1e7x0eg and ZEV mandate http://bit.ly/1kByKUN have helped drive innovation and investment in the critical area of ZEV technology.
