| Comment | To Whom It May Concern:
Is anyone paying attention to the pollution by the use of gas
blowers? Every day I witness gardeners blowing dust and debris
into the streets or onto the property of the next-door neighbor.
What I don’t see, however, but I do smell and breathe in, is all
the contamination that the gas blowers create. This is very
concerning to me. Gas blowers create more pollution than cars.
They also make a lot more noise than most cars. Gas blowers affect
everyone’s health: the smog is bad for our lungs and the noise is
bad for our ears and for our nervous system. The noise creates an
agitated and unnerving environment. What happened to the use of
brooms and rakes? Do we really have to have every single leaf off
of our property? In fact, leaves create the mulch that we are
supposed to have in our yards to make the soil more rich and more
sustainable.
What can we do to discourage the use of gas blowers and stop
polluting?
Thank you.
