i am firmly against these regulations that will doom scores of
recreational sport fishing boats. the environmental impact of these
boats is miniscule compared to the tens of millions of cars and the
industrial base of CA. these recreational sport fishing boats are
small business people who cannot afford to comply to these overly
restrictive regulations. this regulation will put these small
business owners out of work and cause a drastic reduction in
recreational sport fishermen and their license fees and related
businesses such as tackle shops which many will also go out of
business.
