Please do not let this pass. Aside from the massive groups of young
and old Americans whose lives are enroched by the many facets of
the sportfishing industry, my family and many others depend on the
jobs the industry provides. It would destroy the livelihood of so
many families and put more people on rolls for unemployment. If not
completely destroyed, it would reconfigure the industry allowing
only the wealthy to enjoy the sport, and eliminating the wonderful
philanthropic endeavors by making those services too expensive for
vessel owners or progam providers to participate.
