| Comment | Supermarkets are facing significant hurdles to the adoption of
refrigeration systems that can utilize low GWP gases. These hurdles
include low volume related higher upfront costs, low volume related
scarcity of technicians, and general lack of knowledge. The
potential incentive program being considered by CARB would
substantially impact the industry for the good, creating
opportunities for retailers to transition their systems to lower
GWP gases, at the same time becoming more energy efficient & easier
to integrate with clean energy solutions while stimulating economic
activity within many communities that desperately need it. Thank
