| Comment | Regarding the upcoming CARB vote on engine emissions regulations, any sport boat that is operational and registered should be "grandfathered in" just as any car purchased by an individual is "grandfathered in" to new emission regulations. Creating new emissions standards for boats in service is punitive to those who risked a lot to purchase these boats and it is their livelihood that you are voting on. The emissions of the few sportfishing boats pails in comparison to the amount of emissions put out by airplanes that are chartered by our politicians on a daily basis. Stop ruining people's lives by "saving the Earth" and having a double standard with the way you (politicians) live your lives. |
