Hello,
I'm writing in regards to the new emission standards for sport
fishing boats in California. While clean air is extremely
important. The fleet of California sport fishing boats is relitvely
small and spend time out to sea far from populations and has
extremely minimal effect on air quality. The process of
manufacturing new vessels will use more resources and cause more
environmental harm than using older vessels. Additionally the added
cost will likely put many of the boats out of business and
therefore people that depend on them for a job and food source.
Please do not change emission standards for sport fishing boats.
