| Comment | On September 23, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) will
vote to either adopt or reject greenhouse gas (GHG) emission
reduction targets submitted by each region as part of SB 375. SB
375 was passed into law in 2008 with the goal of reducing GHG
emission from vehicles and light trucks though community and
transportation planning. Since then, CARB has taken the lead in
the implementation of SB 375.
we want the most agressive yet achievable GHG emission reduction
targets. Also, we need to stress the importance of having
affordable housing close to work, schools and other community
amenities, reliable and safe alternative transportation choices,
and clean air for ourselves and our children.
