| Comment | the proposed changes will effectively eliminate all sportfishing and the culture it has developed in the past 100 + years. This change requires a engine to be installed within a timeframe, issue is this engine isnt even developed yet, it doesnt exist. So even if boats had the liquidity available to purchase and install this motor, they cant because it isnt developed and ready for purchase yet. And the boats need a window of time to install the new motors before it can be required. This must wait until the engines are ready for production and ready to be installed. This would end a huge culture and tourist attraction for San Diego. Cost tax payers millions. End countless businesses, and render thousands, if not millions unemployed. This can not pass |
