| Subject | Income cap is too low |
| Comment | This is California and the the proposed joint filing $200k income cap is too low. My husband and I both work and with California housing costs eating up much of our income, the CVRP is most definitely a large factor in whether we can purchase an EV. I know it is the smart thing to do and will save us money while we own it, but the upfront cost is still high. This change to the income caps is overly aggressive and will exclude us from being able to purchase an EV. Please reconsider keeping the income caps as is. Also, please get rid of the rebate for PHEVs completely. As noted in the report, there are so many BEV options available now. We should not be subsidizing anything that has a tailpipe. |
