Comment | In the past construction companies I currently work with were able to use a sealant containing a petroleum solvent. This sealant allows them to complete their outdoor work in all 12 months of the year, whether wet or dry or damp. Now, we are told that we can't buy this type of sealant. That California has outlawed them. Why? We all need to work in the winter. Rubber sealants with a petroleum solvent are the best all season sealants for outdoor work. We are told you are the authority to change the rule to allow contractors to use rubber sealants containing petroleum solvents. Please help us. We all want to be proud of our work and cannot affort to have call backs due to failures. Please allow professional contractors to use these type of sealants. |
