| Comment | Hello Chair Randolph and Members of the Board:
When I was 25, m mother died of breast cancer. Now, I live in a
state where pollution from the harbor causes cancer and this
terrifies me. California has the opportunity to protect community
members and make a bold stand for the environment.
I urge the Board to require a 100% zero-emissions transition for
the majority of harbor boats by 2035, including tugboats and
barges, which the rule as it is written now exclude.
This issue is important for the health of the ocean, the health of
the planet, and the health of Californians.
Sincerely,
Sari Fordham
