| Comment | Regarding the proposed 2017-2018 AQIP funding recommendations:
I suggest more emphasis on zero-emission or low-emission shared
mobility solutions, including Personal Rapid Transit and shared
autonomous vehicles. In particular, solar-powered elevated guideway
solutions (such as SkyTran and Spartan Superway) have the potential
to dramatically improve safety and convenience while eliminating
carbon emissions.
This technology can bring profound transportation equity benefits
to disadvantaged communities. Please do not promote continued
reliance on privately owned vehicles.
