| Comment | My name is Destiny Rodriguez, I live in an unincorporated area of
Sanger within the Central Valley. I also work for The Climate
Center as their Regional Community Relations person here in the
valley. The Climate Center recognizes that industry emitting
sources for greenhouse gases also emit PM 2.5, and these emission
sources must be mitigated for the sake of residents' health and our
climate. With more frequent and intense wildfires resulting from
human-caused climate change, Valley residents are being inundated
with PM 2.5 year-round. For decades, our region has suffered
epidemic sickness caused by air pollution, and our communities are
even more vulnerable now due to COVID19 on top of the climate
crisis. We need more stringent measures now. We need clean air now.
Thank you.
