To Whom It May Concern:
Please do not kill our sportfishing industry in California. Your
proposed regulation on fishing operations are as unrealistic as the
ones imposewd by California in housing. Is there anything that you
people can do right?? Do you realize that as charter boat owners go
out of business, millions of Californians and tourists will be
denied access to offshore fishing and the best opportunity to
observe marine life up close not to mentioned the disastreous
global economic impact that your proposed draconian regulations
will have upon every San Diego County resident. 
How do you intent to regulate something that you don't know
anything about? When was the last time you went out deep sea
fishing? Do you realize that cleaner burning Tier Four engines do
not exist for marine applications. No? Then have the moral and
ethical decency to resign. Stop putting people out of business!!
