One of the few freedoms we can still enjoy in Draconian California,
is sport fishing. I urge you to vote no on regulations that rely
on technology that is economically unfeasible and has not been
tested as safe on passenger harbor crafts. As boats are removed
from service, access to the sea will be limited and sportfishing
will become too costly.

It is costly enough as it is with the high prices of fuel we do not
need any further regulations. As you are fully aware, the 80+
container ships off of the port of Los Angeles and Long Beach are
causing far greater pollution then any of the sport fishing boats
could produce in countless years. Not to mention the environmental
impact from the the ship that dragged its anchor over the oil line
in Huntington Beach. Clearly there are bigger fish to fry then the
sportfishing industry. Stop targeting the low hanging fruit and
focus on something that will impact the air quality.

Thank you,

Mike Ambrosio
