I strongly support the Advanced Clean Truck Rule. The goal of 15%
of zero emission trucks on the road by 2030 is feasible. With
conservatively forecasted improvements in electric trucks over the
next 10 years, even more vehicle applications will be suited for
electrification, making this goal even more achievable. Moreover,
wide-spread truck electrification is estimated to support close to
a million manufacturing and construction jobs through 2030. And
there are big economic benefits from the Advanced Clean Truck Rule.
It's estimated that the rule would result in over $10 billion in
statewide health and carbon dioxide reduction benefits by 2040.
