| Comment | Dear Chair Nichols and Air Resource Board Members,
Thank you for all your hard work in the implementation of SB 375.
With appropriate enforcement of this law, we will see a much-needed
reduction in greenhouse gas(GHG) emissions, along with more
sustainable communities and transportation choices.
As a person who values clean air while I walk and bike, as well as
choices in accessible alternative transportation, I urge you to
adopt only GHG emission reduction targets that are ambitious and
achievable. It would be a joy for me if I can save our air while
spending less time on the freeways, saving money on gas, and having
more time with my family. These important outcomes can be achieved
through compact community planning and affordable housing close to
work, school, and community centers.
In your upcoming meeting, please vote for ambitious GHG emission
reduction targets, and achievable sustainble community plans.
Thank you for all your hard work and for the opportunity to submit
my comments.
Sincerely,
Gaby Schubert in fast-growing San Diego, CA
