CARB has forgotten that the
climate is worldwide. Other nations are not bankrupting themselves
to reduce a
miniscule amount of carbon emissions. The carbon
footprint of some of the
alternatives to fuel when you
account mining for battery
materials, production of the batteries, disposal of the batteries,
and the large
strain on an already strained
electrical grid is overlooked. Also, how are we going to power
remote charging
stations? If every fuel station
installs a large diesel generator so electric cars can plug in than
what's
the point?
Step back and look at the big
picture for once. There are many Californian's who are willingly
cutting their
carbon footprint without the
government telling them to. The infastructure is being built to
accomodate these
changes but it takes TIME. Don't
cut of your nose to spite your face! PG&E is warning they can't
keep
the power on this summer and you
want us MORE dependent on them?
STOP the NONSENSE!
