To the honorable members of CARB,

I strongly support a 30% or higher threshold for electric trucks by
2030. 

I want my home state, California, to lead the way, demonstrating
that decarbonization of ground transportation is not only possible,
but both necessary and beneficial. Our state has long been a leader
in making progress on many fronts and especially on clean air.
There is little time left to make the transition off of fossil
energy and without continued steady progress toward fleet wide zero
emissions, I expect that we will not meet the necessary emissions
reductions put forth by the International Panel on Climate Change
for 2050.
