I am writing in strong support of the Advanced Clean Truck rule
that will require that at least 30 % (please make it more than 30%,
how about 40%)  of all new trucks in the state are zero emission
vehicles by 2030.  California's doing this will help drive the
demand for clean trucks and set a model for other states.  It will
also be a significant.  It will also help clean up the air and
improve the health of Californians, particularly residents of poor,
environmental justice communities that are so often located next to
freeways and polluting industries and have high rates of asthma and
other diseases caused by poor air quality.   The Advanced Clean
Truck rule will also result in. the need to build electric charging
infra structure to support clean trucks and, in so doing, will
create jobs that provide good wages, something California needs
much more of.
