| Comment | Hello CARB board members I am emailing you to express the urgent need to strengthen the ACT rule in this upcoming board meeting in June. In this day and age respiratory problems due to poor air quality are all too common. One factor that contributes to this problem are big rigs and semi trucks emitting harmful pollutants in our air that we breathe in everyday. Therefore, we need CARB to adjust zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) for class 7-8 trucks to start with 12% in 2024 and 80% by 2035. Also, due to the ongoing global pandemic (Covid-19) it is now more important than ever that people with respiratory problems have cleaner air making it necessary to act now and strengthen the ACT ruling.
