Hello Good Afternoon My name is Karla I am a mother to two boys and
I live in San Bernardino. The contamination of the railroads and
the semi trucks and the warehouses concern me. Due to that my
oldest son has breathing problems and is allergic to the air
pollution that all these things bring to the San Bernardino area.
He has to use an inhaler every time he has to go outside and play.
This cannot be the new normal for anyone in the Inland Empire. It
affects everyone including those that have health issues.We are
happy to see that CARB has improved the ACT rule. But we need for
the rule to reflect the severity of the problem we have in our
communities. Thank you for all the work that has been done so far,
please consider strengthening the ACT at the June CARB meeting.
