Dear Chair Nichols and Staff,

I urge the California Air Resource Board (CARB) to enact the
Advanced Clean Truck rule in order to substantially reduce our
carbon footprint, the  challenge of our lifetime.  This rule would
have an especially good impact in low income communities, and would
help provide jobs, as well as reduce the price of battery storage
and reduce the need for storage based on fossil fuels.  

While it would be wonderful to require more than 30% of trucks to
be electric in the stated time frame, this is a major step in the
right direction, and even so will be opposed by powerful people in
the fossil fuel business. (I guess they don't have grandchildren!)
