My husband and I support electrifying all CARB vehicles ASAP and
installation of numerous recharging stations powered by solar
panels. Panels could be installed at rest areas, especially where
it gets very hot, on shade structures over parking lots. Other
suitable areas on existing roofs or ground that could use a rest
from inappropriate, irrigation enabled, artificial chemical based
factory farming or ranching would be another public benefit.  

The charging stations should be free to all vehicles and local
residents should be encouraged to provide concessions at the
charging stations to promote local economies. Priority should be
given to areas polluted by historic fossil fuel and mining 
operations.

Local indigenous people should be consulted on appropriate
locations for any facilities where ever possible.
