| Comment | New engines and technology mandates along with removal of wood boats will cripple our passenger sport fishing in California. Not only will these boat owners not able to afford these upgrades but the cost to fisherman will be prohibitive. Southern California relies on sportfishing for its coastal communities. Many families will lose their way of life. We as Californians are connected to the ocean and this mandate would severely limit our access to offshore fishing. |
