| Comment | Our agency, which has a mission to protect public health, through integrated vector management in an environmental and economic manner, will have our mission execution threatened by the new regulation, as we understand it. While we want to be partners in the move to clean energy and zero emissions, our agency uses 4WD pickup trucks to get our technicians into mosquito habitat. The current EV technology does not support this and creates a hazard to our employees when outside the city in wetlands and other semi-wild areas. A modified purchase ratio of 4:1 combustion:zero emissions, would be supportable. Thank you for your consideration. |
