I've been sportfishing for over 50 years. It's a sport that I can
seek refuge from the pressures of every day life and bring home
food for my family. It's therapy for me. If it's gone, not sure
what I can do for myself to release the tension. I feel it's stupid
to put ridiculous restrictions on the fishing fleet and the burden
to comply with a rule that does not exist. Simply put, the
technology is not there and for the many tax dollars that everyone
of Californians pay every year. The state does not lift a finger to
help out the situation! The state needs to find a solution to the
problem instead of destroying lives and livelihoods!  Stephen Early
