| Comment | Dear CARB, RE: Small Fishing Charter and Whale watching boats. There are only 174 boats that are affected by this legislation. They are all small, family run businesses. But they all contribute so much to the California tourism industry. Please do not make this legislation mandatory in such a short term. This would put such a financial hardship on them that most of them would be forced out of business. The impact on our environment would not even be measurable. Please do the right thing and extend this deadline. Thank You, Tom Nickel |
