As a person who fishes for pelagic fish on party boats at least a
dozen times a year, a wildlife biologist who is a leader on several
organized trips focusing on pelagic seabirds and marine mammal life
on these boats several times a year, please do not let this pass.
These are working families and localized businesses who depend on
people like me to use their services at an already pricey fee. Most
of general public will not be able to afford the increase in prices
due to the fleets needing to overhaul their boats. And the
wonderful memories that will be take. Away if this passes will be
priceless. While I fully understand and believe in protecting the
environment, this is not a necessary plan of action to take and
will be devastating to not only the businesses, but those who
thoroughly live anc depend on these businesses for enjoyment.
Education, and ones sanity.
