Our family has sport fished in California for decades - and we also
periodically enjoy whale watching.  At one time we also owned a
boat and we are strictly middle class.

it is TOTAL discrimination to pass these laws requiring the
upgrades - the only people who will be able to afford it are the
richies - like the Governor (fancy diner that he is) and his ilk.

You would be taking away joy from families of all incomes.  Last
night at a church finance committee meeting, in our church's older
neighborhood, I watched as a father and son lovely readied a
smaller fishing boat (with engine) for a trip over the holiday
weekend.

You would be STEALING that from thousands of us.  And many church,
community groups, schools utilize the services of these people for
therapy, field trips etc.

My 3 year old grandson deserves the right to a fishing trip on a
friend's boat - just like his Dad and his Grandpa before that.

you pass this?  And thousands and thousands of boat owners will
have to sell  - and will be able to sell  . to no one.

Economic hardship all around.

Tired of this Governor and his cronies making rules and regulations
that do not effect him.
