The more we invest in fossil fuel extraction, the harder it is
to enforce the real costs to the planet, and hence the harder it is
to wean ourselves off their use.  Using such fossil fuels from
the lungs of the planet further puts our earth balance at risk,
since the Amazon is showing signs of being at or past the tipping
point of turning from an oxygen producing net carbon sink towards
being a net carbon emitter on its way to transforming to savanah,
with that subsequent contribution towards greater species dying off
in that and supporting regions.  Stop allowing trade credits
that further species die offs.
