RRI Energy, Inc. (RRI) appreciates this opportunity to provide
comments to CARB on its “Proposed Regulation for Energy Efficiency
and Co-Benefits Assessment of Large Industrial Facilities,” to be
considered for approval by the Board during its meeting on
Thursday, July 22, 2010.
RRI supports the use of calendar year 2009 greenhouse gas (GHG)
emissions—the first year of GHG data collected by CARB through its
mandatory reporting program that will be verified—for determining
applicability with the regulation.
