| Comment | While it is expected the AQMD PM10 redesignation for attainment will be approved, it needs to be noted that a PM10 monitor located on the Torres Martinez Indian reservation located approximately 13 to 14 miles South from the Indio PM10 Air station is showing non-attainment for the PM10 standard. This an agricultural area unlike the urban setting the Indio station is in and the main cause of these Pm10 exceedances is wind blown fugitive dust from open disturbed areas in the rural eastern end of the Coachella Valley.
